The onus is on the student to select the correct combination of subjects for the chosen diploma. ENTRY TO THE HIGHER DIPLOMA
Entry to the Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management is dependent on the number of points attained at Diploma level. A student may enroll for the Higher Diploma if he/she has attained a minimum of seven points from five Diploma subjects. Points are calculated from final results:
PASS = One point
CREDIT = Two points
DISTINCTION = Three points
A student who has not attained seven points but who wishes to continue studying with the Institute will be advised to enroll for a Second Diploma.
ENROLLING FOR A SECOND DIPLOMA
A successful student, who does not wish to proceed immediately to the Higher Diploma and wishes to widen his/her knowledge at the Diploma level, may apply to the Institute to register for a Second Diploma. Please request an Application to Enroll for a Second Diploma Form. A Second Diploma requires passing four more subjects, two under the heading for the choice of Second Diploma, and one from each of the other Diploma headings.
After completing two Diplomas, a student will be considered to have acquired sufficient background at Diploma level and, if he/she wishes to continue studying with the Institute and has achieved an aggregate of seven points in five subjects, may then proceed to the Higher Diploma. It is not possible to take all three Diplomas at Diploma level.
