EXCEPTIONS: CONDITIONAL STUDENTS

By way of EXCEPTION, the Institute may admit applicants who do not possess the minimum 5, O" levels as CONDITIONAL STUDENTS who must pass the subject Introduction to Personnel, Training, Labour and Business before being permitted to purchase and embark upon any other subjects.

Such applicants must:

  1. be 23 years of age or above AND
  2. possess 3, O" levels, one of which MUST be ENGLISH
  3. submit documentary evidence of the 3, O" levels and of any other successful study AND
  4. apply in WRITING for admission as a Conditional Student, enclosing the following documentation :
    1. Written proof from the applicant’s employer that he/she is employed in the personnel or training field, or some related area of work, including a detailed job description setting out the activities he/she performs, and SIGNED by the EMPLOYER
    2. A detailed Curriculum Vitae
    3. Copies of all relevant educational certificates certified by a Commissioner of Oaths
    4. Copy of birth certificate or other proof of age.

Please note well, that applicants for Conditional Studentship who do not fulfil ALL these requirements will NOT be accepted unless and until they do so. In the event that an applicant is rejected, the Joining Fee is forfeit.
